Brickyard

The Brickworks boosts clay production in the village. At Level 1 it adds 5% to your base production, and at subsequent levels 5% more to a total of 25%. Note that the Brickworks bonus does not apply to other bonus effects such as Oasis income or the 10% Plus bonus.

[edit] Efficiency
The most efficient (i.e, best return on resources invested) time to build the Brickyard depends on the number of Clay fields in the village. With four fields, the most efficient use of resources is to upgrade three to Level 7 and one to Level 10, then upgrade Brickyard to Level 3. Before you get Brickyard Level 4, upgrade the three remaining fields to Level 8. Before you get Brickyard Level 5, upgrade the remaining fields to Level 9.
There are also villages consisting of three or five clay fields. The more fields in a village, the earlier the Brickyard levels can be efficiently constructed.
