Palace

From Travian

The palace can be only built in one village, that must not have a Residence, and the village then becomes your capital and so protected against any enemy who tries to conquer it as long as you have less than four villages. Note that if you have an existing capital with no palace and build a palace in a non-capital city you have the choice of switching capitals; the city in which you build your palace isn't automatically your capital (unless you built the palace in the first city) unless you decide so.

The palace of a player who has less than 4 villages can not be destroyed. Your catapults will only be able to demolish it to level 1, after that, it remains one. Only when the player has 4 or more villages can a palace be destroyed.

(In Travian 3 the palace can be completely destroyed regardless of how many villages you have! So even if you have less than 4 villages, it can be lost.)

At levels 10, 15 and 20, either 3 settlers or an administrator (Senator, Chieftain, Chief) can be trained.
