A Rally point can be established in only one part of any village: just to the right of the central space.
A menu at the top says "Overview | Send troops | Combat Simulator".
- The overview displays all applicable troop stationings and movements as listed in the next section;
- "Send troops" lets you send out the village's own troops to any destination selected by coordinates or (riskier because two villages can have the same name) village name;
- The Combat Simulator allows you to check the results of hypothetical battles.
Level 1[]
As soon as a Rally Point is built, the display below the menu allows the owner to:
- See the village origin and arrival time of each incoming attack (whereas without a rally point all that you see is the arrival time of the first one and the total number) - "Incoming troops"
- Distinguish between your own troops and reinforcements, and see the origins of (and send back) all troops reinforcing that village - "Troops in the village"
- See your own dispatched troops' destination and arrival time - "Troops on the way"
- Examine, and optionally withdraw, any of the village's troops that are on reinforcement duties - "Troops in other villages"
Troop Slots[]
With the release of the 3.6 server the Rally Point level determines the number of concurrent attacks that you may make. A Rally Point at level 1 may only have 5 concurrent attacks and you gain 5 attacks for each successive level i.e. at level 20 you can have 100 simultaneous troop movements. All reinforcements to other villages are considered as an attack but reinforcements from an enemy village, or your attack, do not count to the attacking total. (Not relevant in 4.0)
Targeting Capabilities[]
The main purpose of upgrading the Rally Point is to allow accurate targeting with a catapult.

At each level interval shown above, you are also able to target any of the targets from the previous level(s). With a Rally Point level of 20 and a minimum of 20 catapults attacking, you will gain a second strike; for that strike a different target can be chosen.
But be warned the attack does not count as a second "free" attack, it just means you can split your attack to hit 2 targets in one wave (i.e., if you have 100 catapults when you attack, each target will be hit by 50).
The "Never" column indicates that those structures can never be directly targeted, though a random attack may hit them.
